In 2012, Select Shades Eyewear Events was formed as a division of Sunglass Warehouse, a successful brick-and-mortar retailer of sunglasses. Since its founding, Select Shades Eyewear Events has grown steadily from a division of Sunglass Warehouse into a leading provider of premium eyewear gifting experiences while continuing to operate its own retail stores.
Jason Pittenger is from Charleston, SC and started his career in the food and beverage industry before joining Sunglass Warehouse. Under his operational leadership, Sunglass Warehouse grew into a 25+ store chain. Jason is known for his drive and ambition, always pushing forward and maintaining a high standard of excellence as a business owner.
Jonathan Brimer is from Lakeland, FL and worked with Marriott International for twelve years before he joined Sunglass Warehouse. He was instrumental in officially launching the Select Shades Eyewear Events division in 2014. In 2016, Jonathan became a business partner with Jason, helping lead the continued growth and evolution of Select Shades as a whole.
